Meet our Dentist: Dr. Rajiv Motwani
Dr. Rajiv Motwani believes that having a great smile can be
life-changing. He is devoted to providing the best standard of care
through patient education, contemporary technology, and minimally
invasive techniques. All of this is achieved in a comfortable
environment that puts his patients at ease. Since 2004, Dr. Rajiv
Motwani has been working to provide exceptional dental care for
patients in the Bradenton, Sarasota, and surrounding areas. Dr.
Motwani’s experience in general and cosmetic dentistry is coupled
with genuine concern for his patients.
Dr. Motwani loves to learn about the latest dental technologies and techniques and has incorporated these advancements to create a state-of-the-art dental environment. He has a very hands-on approach to every aspect of his office, including building several of the computers for dental imaging.
Dr. Motwani is a college graduate of the University of Florida, receiving a B.S. degree in Microbiology and Cell Science. After a brief career as a Microbiologist, Dr. Motwani attended Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (D.M.D). Soon after graduation in 2004, he moved to Bradenton and practiced as an associate for five years. In 2009, Dr. Motwani fulfilled his dream of owning his own practice, and Westshore Dentistry Inc. was established. He has extensive training and experience in all areas of general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry. Dr. Motwani has also received additional training and certification in providing limited orthodontics though clear aligner therapy, surgical implant placement, endodontics (root canal therapy), and cosmetic dentistry. He has become known for his calm and caring nature and is widely regarded among his peers and patients.
In his spare time, Dr. Motwani enjoys family time with his wife, Jana, and their two sons. He is an avid fisherman and musician/guitarist. He has been playing the guitar for over 20 years. In addition to this, he loves to learn about the latest in technology, gadgets, and computers. His love of technology and keen sense of detail are what brought him to the field of dentistry. Other interests include traveling with the family and cooking.
